Senior graduate student Jack Guo spoke about his work to develop MYC/FBXW7 molecular glues at the Koch Institute Retreat. It was a terrific retreat with many great presentations and productive collisions. Great chemistry is not just on paper but within the team at the Koch Institute. It was a day of convergence with many diverse scientists and engineers thinking about how to carve out new paths to impact cancer. Go Jack!
The Koehler Lab aims to innovate in the earliest stages of drug discovery by building chemical tools or technologies to assist in the process of target validation and by expanding the repertoire of protein targets that are considered to be druggable. We focus primarily on building chemical tools and methods for studying temporal aspects of transcriptional regulation in development and disease with a focus on cancer.
